CVE-2026-23112
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet-tcp: add bounds checks in nvmet_tcp_build_pdu_iovec nvmet_tcp_build_pdu_iovec() could walk past cmd->req.sg when a PDU length or offset exceeds sg_cnt and then use bogus sg->length/offset values, leading to _copy_to_iter() GPF/KASAN. Guard sg_idx, remaining entries, and sg->length/offset before building the bvec.

An attacker at L2 with code execution can execute code on an indirect branch on the host machine. We recommend upgrading to Kernel 6.2 or applying the relevant stable backports (v5.4.233, v5.10.170, v5.15.96, v6.1.14).

A further 397 advisories publish no version range, so whether they reach 6.1 cannot be determined from the advisory alone.

Where to move next

The newest tracked release is 7.2.3. If moving release is not an option yet, 6.1.187 is the newest build on the 6.1 line and needs no migration.
